Understanding how to blend people and robots to optimise outcomes.
Themes
This journal addresses how people, and groups of people, work with robots (broadly defined) and groups of robots, in an organisational context.
Topics may include:
- How full jobs, professions, teams, business capabilities, companies, or industries might replace people with robots
- How partial substitution of people with robots at a job, profession, team, or business capability level may and / or should occur to ensure optimal economic or social outcomes
- How personal ownership of robots can and / or should be incorporated into the labour market
- How governance and performance management of organisations might and / or should impact how ownership or responsibility for robots interacts with accountability for their actions or performance
- How decision rights and transfers of accountability might operate between owners, programmers, supervisors, and subordinates of robots
